---SMT-UTZ-1 Diesel Engine Ultrasonic Inspection System ---

1. Application:
Aluminum alloy piston of diesel engine cylinder with steel ring
whose diameter is from 90 to 150mm.

2. Test method

work-piece merges partially below water, ultrasonic wave penetration, three transducers, two receivers, one transmitter. Work-piece rotation is driven by step motor, quality evaluation is based on wave strength received by R1and R2 after penetration. Poston quality is good if the strength is above threshold value, whereas it is poor.

3. Function
Pentium PC with keyboard, color monitor and HD.
Operating system: Windows 2000/XP.
Automatic computing and controlling by special software. Each test result is displayed on screen according to input acceptance level.
Test result data is displayed on screen for each tested piston: a single defect size, distance between two defects, the size of area overlapped by two layers, total defect area calculation(0.1% resolution, 360o/1000).
The above data corresponding to flaw are in percentage.

User may adopt and use standard for enterprise and input data directly from user graphic interface of PC.

Work-piece is manually loaded or unloaded, testing period is about 20 seconds per each, 150 pieces per hours. Work-piece rotation and test is automatically carried out.

Test result may be stored on hard-disk and printed out or transmitted.

In automatic operation mode, ultrasonic testing device is calibrated automatically.

The era of digital image technology of radiation test has come, it is known just like? a digital camera, which has no conventional film. Fuji FCR represents the latest technology of international digital RT. Marktec is its exclusive representative in China.

System feature:

  1. Conventional RT film is replaced by IP(image paper) which is soft, bendable, less weight, reusable and easy to handle.
  1. Sensitometry of IP is ten time greater than IX 100# film, exposure time can be reduced, which has high work efficiency.
